Today was national day celebration in the school hall. In the sea of red and white, we resembled sardines packed btw some whites, it was totally chaotic as the bulky sized 16-18 year olds are packed into the tiny hall with barely even space to walk or even seat with ease :/
My memory drifted off to last year's celebration in xinmin's school hall.
Instead of just red and white, it was packed with random colours of red, blue, yellow and green. Each one have at least adequate space to sit with their bags rested nicely beside or infront of them. Walking was still not easy, but nevertheless, it seems much more fortunate than this year's. (unless i grew fatter which i did ): ) It was nice to see so many trains roamin around the school hall, invading the stage and everything. Though i think that the avs were the angriest of the days, considering the students trampling over their equipments and pushing the screen, that made them scream with rage. It's quite hilarious, but also scary at the same time. i've to declare that i'm not part of that crowd (for the pushing the screeen part). :D
After the celebrations, 20/09 decided to go out! (:
We managed to catch a movie and went to teo heng to sing. life's damn good!
the movie was "The Hangover"- nc16 flim consisting of sexual humour which the guys enjoyed a lot. It's a feel-good film rather than an impact flim, which i will never spend more than $6 to watch (not really my type of humour).
Then, we proceeded to teo heng to find theresa, yuxin and fangying w/o the guys.
Reached. And i managed to hear some people sing that i've never before. As usual, they didn't disappoint me as their singing are good, i mean it!! (: It is always nice to hear ppl start gaining confidence and singing. (just see meijun, when the whole bunch of 206 girls tried to get her to sing, making her so embarassed hahaha).
Alright, i've had my share of fun today, BECAUSE each of us only need to spend $5 unlike some money-sucking place(*HINTS*), of which their facilities do not deserve a cost of $10+++++ per person, considering the fact that i've had to pay up to $30 for no reason. BUT i'm really glad that i'm able to go sing with tjc people for the first time after my 6 months in school. I've been looking forward to this day for almost ages (very deprived of singing in k lol) !!
then i've had subway for dinner. There's the 1 for 1 subway meal today at hg's subway. But i ate at parkway instead. I managed to fulfil my cravings after so many days :D It's okay, the producers' are surplus are high, but i've gained utility as well x:
